Sophia Bell – Director
Sophia finds immense joy in nurturing tiny dancers, helping them build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of movement. As a mum of two, she adores life in the beautiful Illawarra and brings warmth, passion, and creativity to every class she teaches.
Her dance journey has taken her across the world—training professionally in classical and contemporary dance both in Australia and overseas. She refined her craft in Switzerland in a full-time professional setting before furthering her training in England. Her performance career saw her dance across Germany, Switzerland, England, and the Czech Republic, but her greatest passion has always been sharing the magic of dance with others.
As a qualified dance instructor, Sophia has guided students from their very first twirl to professional auditions, exams, and performances. She has choreographed many solo and group pieces, always encouraging dancers of all ages and abilities to find pure joy in movement. Known for her calm, nurturing nature, she creates a welcoming space where every child feels seen, valued, and inspired.
“My aim is to inspire, share my knowledge and bring joy to all of my students. Throughout my classes I give nurturing support to develop healthy and creative individuals. I enjoy combining music and imagination into each dance class and I absolutely love watching my students sparkle and shine as they grow with confidence.”

Kid's Dance Class venues and timetables
Getting out of the house with children can be a challenge at the best of times therefore every single one of our dance class venues in the Illawarra has been sourced with your ease and comfort in mind.
There is plenty of parking available at each location. There are bathrooms and each venue also has a kitchen available for those requiring heat for bottles, and we warmly welcome breastfeeding mothers.
We pride ourselves on being ‘family friendly’, therefore there is no need to find a babysitter for any siblings as they are most welcome to sit with their accompanying adult during class and many venues have playgrounds and breakout areas.
